Mr. Zavarello is Fuentes Strategies’ expert-in-residence for all Financial Services matters, and is highly respected for working across party lines to achieve results. With over 25 years of experience, Mr. Zavarello is a seasoned political and policy expert who advises our clients on issues related to economic and community development, financial services, civil rights, and housing. While in Congress, Mr. Zavarello worked as a Senior Staff member at the House Committee on Financial Services, under both Chairman Barney Frank (D-MA) and Ranking Member Maxine Waters (D-CA), respectively.
In this role, he contributed to the drafting, introduction, legislative process, and eventual passage of the historic Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. Mr. Zavarello holds a degree in Economics from Northwestern University.
