Joe Mata brings over two decades of experience working in international affairs. Over the course of his career, Joe has excelled at bringing people together across cultures in a variety of settings. He has done so while working for prominent organizations like the United States Department of State and the United Nations on leading topics of the day.

This includes Joe's works related to Afghanistan, where Joe played vital roles in high-profile events such as Afghanistan's Constitutional Loya Jirga, its first presidential election, and several parliamentary elections. Joe was highly respected for the political analysis he was able to provide to decision-makers at the United Nations, the Department of States and, occasionally, the White House.
In all of his roles, Joe was able to help find common ground among divergent views, and to hash out workable compromises. Joe is an excellent public speaker and hold a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of Florida and a MA in International Affairs from George Washington University Elliott School of International Affairs.
